It’s a limited edition gold layered medallion honoring the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States – Barack Obama. The date of the inauguration was on Jan 20th, 2008 – a historic day in American history.

The front of the coin shows the bust of Barack Obama in the foreground and Whitehouse in the background.

The back of the coin has the presidential seal of the United States overlaid with Barack Obama’s signature across the seal.

The coin diameter measures approx. 1.5 inches (40mm) the coin is proof quality 24 karat gold plated over copper, and comes in a clear removable plastic cover
